Mia's lips parted when she heard Lucas's shameless words.
"Do you really talk with everyone, Mister Lucas?" Mia questioned with a hint of annoyance in her tone. This man truly had no filter when it came to certain things. How could he say such words right in front of her without any qualms? The two of them haven't even known each other for more than two weeks.
'And yet you are married to the man,' A nasty voice spoke in her head.
'Shut up,' Mia told that voice in her head as she turned to look at the man sitting beside her hospital bed. "I mean, do you even think before you speak, Mister Lucas? If you don't, then you better start before you get beaten severely."
