The debut was just three days away, and I was run ragged, making sure that everything was going to plan.
"Right, so the entertainment is taken care of." Lady Isolde said, ticking off something on the page in front of her. "Master Lukas? What about the schedule?"
"On the first night, there will be a grand ball, which will give the attendees a chance to mingle and socialise. The following day will be a hunt, followed by a feast, and on the third day, the princess will take the diadem, and publicly make the oath in front of all the assembled."
"And the decorations are all set up correctly, Miss Rita?"
"Yes, ma'am."
"And the princess knows what she has to do?"
Miss Rita nodded again. "Yes, but she's not happy about it.
"Anna is an independent sort." I said. "She feels pressured into doing this, which is why she's rebelling so hard."
"The princess will come around. She has a strong sense of duty." Lady Isolde added.
