Chapter 156 - Chapter 156: Resource Cards Merge, Divine Kingdom Construction Plan

Bai Ze carefully reviewed the options from top to bottom.

The previously solidified Racial Branching ability was still available, and it was essential to take it.

With Spirit Revival excluded, two open slots were left. Bai Ze scanned through and found two promising blue-tier talents:

Fondness for Warfare (Blue): Indigenous creatures have a heightened affinity for combat, leading them to conquer others and establish dominance.

Wisdom Proliferation (Blue): Indigenous creatures gain increased intelligence, reproduce faster, and produce offspring with progressively higher intelligence, rapidly advancing civilization.

"There aren't any better skills available," Bai Ze muttered. "I'll take these two, System!"

[Ding! Talents successfully selected!]

[Ding! Please select items to carry for this round of simulation.]

[Currently carried items: Divine Authority, Divine Eye.]

[Available items: 1 B-tier creature card, 3 B-tier resource cards, 3 B-tier tool cards.]

After a brief moment of thought, Bai Ze shrugged. He had sufficient resources now, so there was no need to hold back.

"System, spend Creation Points to bring all the cards with me."

[Ding! Command received. Deducting 700 Creation Points. All cards have been added to your inventory!]

[Ding! The simulation for this round officially begins.]

[The will of the Divine descends upon this barren world. Corrupted and infertile soil, polluted oceans, withered trees everything reflects the decline of this world.]

"It's starting. Since that's the case..." Bai Ze paused, then immediately deployed the Treant Tribe he had previously preserved onto the grasslands.

Though calling it a grassland might be generous it was more like a desolate plain.

[Early First Era: Led by Aurora, the Treant Tribe arrives on the corrupted plains. Astonished by their survival, they express profound awe for the miracle of resurrection.]

[Having heard tales of their Divine's power, they now witness it firsthand. The Treant Tribe bows in reverence, marveling at the greatness of their deity.]

[Even the Saint Spirit King Dragon, one of the first beings, flutters its wings in disbelief and joins in the worship after observing the Treants.]

[Ding! +5 Faith Points.]

After this show of devotion, Bai Ze commanded Aurora to use the Heart of the Sacred Tree to rejuvenate the barren plains and transform them into true grasslands.

"This plain is enormous," Aurora telepathically reported. "My magic alone may not suffice, but I will try."

Bai Ze affirmed her efforts, confident that she could manage. After all, he had a card to help.

[Mid First Era: Following her orders, Aurora began spreading greenery across the plains. The Saint Spirit King Dragon joined to assist, accelerating their progress.]

[Meanwhile, the Treants volunteered to clear the surrounding area of malformed creatures, creating a safe space for the grasslands to expand.]

"Excellent," Bai Ze muttered in satisfaction. He then activated two cards with a wave of his hand.

"Now, let's see what you can do!"

[Ding! B-tier Resource Card: Resource Growth activated!]

[Ding! B-tier Resource Card: Torrential Rain activated!]

The two cards vanished into the air.

The Resource Growth Card allowed all resources within the world renewable or nonrenewable to grow autonomously, albeit slowly. Initially, Bai Ze had carried this card as a contingency against potential failures of Spirit Revival.

Little did he expect it would prove vital now.

[Ding! The system has detected compatibility between the two cards. A chain reaction is triggered, and they have been automatically merged!]

[Ding! A-tier Resource Card: Resource Surge created!]

Resource Surge (A-tier Resource Card): Activates a downpour that nourishes the land. Trees and minerals grow autonomously, at accelerated rates that surpass natural limits.

[Ding! A-tier Resource Card: Resource Surge activated!]

Bai Ze's eyes widened. "What? The two cards merged into an A-tier card?!"

The odds of such an event were minuscule. Bai Ze had only read about it in textbooks and had never personally experienced it until now.

[Late First Era: Thanks to Aurora and the Saint Spirit King Dragon, the grasslands began sprouting greenery and regaining vitality. Mutant creatures in the surrounding areas were driven away, leaving the region safe and habitable.]

[Suddenly, dark clouds gathered, and torrential rain poured from the heavens. The enriched soil became fertile, and the polluted oceans were cleansed. Hidden beneath the barren land, resilient minerals began to grow anew.]

"This should suffice," Bai Ze said with satisfaction. "Next, it's time to introduce the ancient apes."

Before doing so, Bai Ze assigned one final task to the Treant Tribe.

[As the world began to recover, you summoned Aurora and instructed the Treant Tribe to construct a floating island. Ideally, it should be suspended among the clouds, with connections to the ground for easy access.]

[The Treant Tribe, eager to comply, spread out to gather materials. With guidance from the Kunpeng leader, they began understanding the fundamentals of floating island construction.]

"All preparations are in place. Now it's your turn," Bai Ze said, activating another card.

[Ding! B-tier Creature Card: Ancient Apes activated.]

[Late First Era: On the rejuvenated grasslands, a species of ancient apes emerged.]

[Simultaneously, the oceans witnessed the birth of single-celled and multi-celled organisms, signaling a flourishing world on the rise.]

[However, the ancient apes faced difficulties. Food on the grasslands was scarce, and the absence of trees made shelter impossible. Nights were bitterly cold, and some apes succumbed to starvation or frostbite.]

[Struggling to survive, many ancient apes decided to leave in search of a better tomorrow.]

"They're leaving?" Bai Ze frowned. "So, the planet is still too barren..."

Without Spirit Revival, the scarcity of food and resources was too severe, especially in the grasslands.

Moreover, the climate remained extreme, with daytime temperatures barely above freezing and nights plunging to minus ten degrees.

If not for their thick fur, survival for the ancient apes would have been nearly impossible.
