Chapter 133: Young Clan Head of the Uzumaki Clan

After Tsunade heard Uchiha Douhuan's thoughts, she also fell into silence.

"My family's inherited ninjutsu?" Naruto was stunned upon hearing this.
"Do you know what your surname Uzumaki and the whirlpool clan crest on your back represent?" Uchiha Douhuan said after putting Naruto down.
"My surname? And the clan crest?" After being put down, Naruto took off his jacket and stared blankly at the whirlpool pattern on it.
Growing up, the Third Hokage always gave him clothes with this pattern. Naruto initially thought it was just the Third's habit. However, after moving into Kakashi's house, even the new clothes Kakashi bought for him would have this pattern embroidered on them before he was allowed to wear them.
"Yes, your clan," Uchiha Douhuan said. "The Uzumaki clan was once a super-major clan, no less than the Uchiha or Hyuga."
"So, my dad was also from the Uzumaki clan?" Naruto quickly asked.
"No, your mother was. Moreover, your mother was once a princess of the Uzumaki clan," Uchiha Douhuan stated.
Suddenly learning news about his parents, Naruto instantly fell into a daze. However, Uchiha Douhuan gently patted his little head, bringing him back to his senses.
"But, I've never heard any news about the Uzumaki clan," Naruto said.
"That's natural. Because the Uzumaki clan was nearly wiped out over twenty years ago," Uchiha Douhuan explained. "In other words, strictly speaking, you could even be considered the current clan head of the Uzumaki clan."

"Sealing Jutsu?" Naruto was somewhat puzzled. Having skipped class all the time, Naruto was practically illiterate regarding ninja theory; he didn't know what Sealing Jutsu was.
Uchiha Douhuan chuckled and picked up a water kettle from a nearby table. Then he took out a special scroll paper capable of storing chakra, casually drew a sealing formula on it, and with a 'poof', the water kettle disappeared into thin air.
"So... so amazing!" Naruto exclaimed in awe.
"Want to learn? I'll teach you," Uchiha Douhuan chuckled. Although Uchiha Douhuan's proficiency in genjutsu could be said to be bottom-tier within the Uchiha clan, Uchiha Douhuan's talent for Sealing Jutsu was excellent.
The reason was simple. "What... what is this?" Naruto asked Uchiha Douhuan after regaining his senses.
"A big guy living inside your body. Today is the first time you two have met, right?" Uchiha Douhuan chuckled.
"He... is the demon fox?" Looking at the Nine-Tails, Naruto also recalled how he had always been called the 'demon fox brat'.
"Naruto, you must be polite to friends," Uchiha Douhuan said. "He's not some demon fox. He's just an unlucky fellow who was deemed too dangerous because he was too strong, and thus lost his freedom."
"Huh?" Naruto's eyes widened.
"ROAR!" However, from the other side of the seal, the Nine-Tails' roar echoed again.
"Why are you roaring so loudly?" Uchiha Douhuan glanced up at the Nine-Tails. "Is scaring children fun?"
A sharp claw extended from between the gaps in the seal, stabbing towards the two. However, Uchiha Douhuan watched impassively as the claw stopped right before them, unable to advance further under the seal's restraint.
"Naruto, come greet your friend. If nothing unexpected happens, he will accompany you for the rest of your life," Uchiha Douhuan chuckled.
"Huh? Okay," Naruto nodded, then clasped his hands together, bowed, and said, "Hello, big fox. My name is Uzumaki Naruto. Please take care of me in the future."
The Nine-Tails was unimpressed by Naruto's greeting and roared again: "Friend? Who wants to be friends with you humans! You only covet the power of the Tailed Beasts!"
Naruto was startled by the Nine-Tails' sudden roar and turned his head to look aggrievedly at Uchiha Douhuan.
"Sleep for a while first; I'll chat with him," Uchiha Douhuan smiled, using his pupil power to send Naruto's spirit out of the seal space. Subsequently, he looked up, facing the Nine-Tails with his pair of Mangekyou Sharingan eyes.
"Mangekyou Sharingan..." The Nine-Tails behind the gate was somewhat wary. "What do you want? To use genjutsu to force me to provide power to that little brat?"
Uchiha Douhuan shook his head, then began to speak: "To disappoint you, my proficiency in genjutsu is very poor. I cannot control you without harming Naruto."
