Outing VIII
The moment Osho got close to the gently swaying construct, the hatch closest to him opened, and he waited for a moment before stepping inside to avoid messing up the timing.
'Hey, this seat isn't half bad.' He thought with some surprise. The seat was surprisingly comfortable. Were fighter jet seats comfortable? They had to be, right? Considering some pilots fly for days.
"Are you settled in?" Osho perked up as he heard John's voice sound through a speaker at the top of his little pod.
"Yeah, the space is decent." Osho replied before releasing Gale from the Beast Space. The bird practically jumped out but immediately turned unhappy at the small space Osho just said was decent.
'Small!' He complained, and Osho reacted by stroking his feathers.
'It'll be worth it, I promise.' He assured, and the bird slowly relaxed.
John seemed to see that he was ready, so he said after a breath.
