The Langston family was not exempted from attending the founding banquet. Cora knocked on the door of her young lady's room. Her worries shone behind the façade of her stoic face.
Her young lady had arrived oddly in the early hours of the morning. It wasn't strange that her young lady and Kieran had returned looking battered since the goal was a conquest to overthrow the branch leader. However, Cora noticed that her young lady looked tensed and shook to the core. She had glanced questioningly at Kieran for answers, but the nineteen-year-old only shook his head and quietly left the room.
It also didn't help that her young lady had not spoken a word and remained on her bed without touching her breakfast.
