Madeline Harlow, a 20-year-old  whose life seems pretty normal, attending classes, coming back home, rushing through deadlines and whatnot except that it's not.
Madeline was the daughter of Benneton Harlow, a leading businessman in the pharmaceutical industry until someone sued him leading his company into bankruptcy.

Fortunately, he was able to pay back all his debts and rise against all odds that were thrown at him, but at what cost?

''Dad, whose marriage certificate is this, and why does it have my name on it!?'' 

Benneton sighed and calmly stated as a matter of fact, ''It's yours and Liam's.''

As if not being able to accept what she had just heard, Madeline rushed to her dad, bringing the papers closer to him, ''Why did I even sign this!? And why him!?''

I blushed under his gaze at the accusation, ''See, I am sorry ok, next time I'd take permission.''


I watched as Liam lifted his eyebrows, which only meant one thing, he had found a new source to tease me, ''Ah! So there will be a next time.'' he said.


My face that previously felt hot was probably burning right now, this man knew exactly how to rile me up. It was shocking how our relationship took this turn in two months.


In two months we went from hating each other to teasing each other like this.


But, was there any hate from the beginning? Did I ever hate Liam Fernandes, was 'hate' the right word?


I wanted to ask him now, 'What are we?' to put my heart at ease I wanted to label our relationship. But moments like this would probably be insignificant to him unlike how it was to me.
