It was disconcerting when Julia started acting out. Anna and her always argued well more like Anna would randomly start scolding Julia. Mark felt secptical about Julia's behavior but with Anna he never understood why they couldn't get along. Everytime Anna cooked Julia would try to mess with the food. At first they thought she was trying to add more spices than nessicary but one day Julia tried to put what looked like a herb into the food and Anna snapped and hit her. Anna didn't explain why but her words made it clear.
"Attempt this again and I'll Kill you myself." (Anna)
Even attempting to punch her in the face never made her threaten Mark's life. Although at this point Julia already had her way with Justin, Justin didn't bother standing up for her. Although he had told Anna to calm down so Anna had pulled Justin to the side saying something to him that made some of the color leave his face. His words to Julia were straight to the point.
"Julia the next camp we come accross with other survivors we will seperate from you." (Justin)
Yeah they never knew it was what would make her snap. It took them a while but just outside the boarder of a town they did see a survivor's camp. Thats when Julia cast magic it was like an explosion of vibrant color. Although it was slow and they were able to dodge the nearest thing that got hit by the colorful attack started to crumble and decay. It didn't take long for Anna to realize what was happening.
"RUN!" (Anna)
When Julia started to rant about them needing to die for her to get stronger it was like madness had engulfed her every action. Every word she said was wrong and disturbing. Like the fact that she was deserving of the gods to assend to godhood all she had to do was kill more survivors. Even the fact that the first group she had teamed up with that had died when they failed to escape a monster. It turned out it was a lie due to said monster being herself. She had put drugs into the food making all of them unwell and easier to kill. She ranted and raved in anger about how if it wasn't for the fact that Anna kept interfereing Julia would have already succeeded in drugging everyone. It wasn't hard to realize that the herb that Julia tried to add to the food would have actually killed or severly harmed everyone if eaten.
Anna was trying to protect everyone from Julia this whole time. Even if she didn't fully realize it everything she had done so far interfered with Julia's goal. Thats when a sound of gunfire rang through and Anna's yell of pain hit everyone's ears.
"I suppose it is kathartic to end you. You have been an annoying pest getting in my way. You should have let me kill everyone here and it would have worked out perfectly. Although I suppose I am fine with this." (Julia)
Anna's leg was bleeding with a knarly hole going straight through it as Anna tried to force herself back. Blood gushed and bits of flesh was spread accross the ground. We all made a move. Greyson and Justin both pulled out their guns and started shooting at Julia. Although Julia was shrugging it all off. A sparking red barrier would appear every time she was shot at. Mark had run over with Kyle who attempted to help lift Anna up. Thats when Justin used his spell for the first time. A loud yell eminated from his mouth that seemed to unbalance Julia thats when a final bang sounded out.
Julia's head caved in as it exploded backwords. Parts of her brain was exposed as her body went slack and crumbled to the ground. Brainmatter blood and chungs of her face spread accross the ground in a gore filled display. Julia's body made small twitches on the ground before ceasing to move completely.
They all turned and saw Anna holding her shotgun. Her breaths were shallow and pained but the shotgut disappeared once more as Anna's color seemed to fade from her face even more. A turnikit appeared next to her as her body started to shake. Justin rushed over and spoke while pressing Anna to lay down.
"I'll handle this just focus on breathing." (Justin)
It was only a couple motions but he had her leg turnikated. Thats when Mark saw splinters of her bone visibly moving back inside her leg as her flesh started to knit itself back together.
"I'll carry her." (Mark)
She was spaced out if it for a while her eye's seeming lost in a haze as he picked her up and carried her on his back.
