He leaned forward slightly, head tilting. His silver-gray eyes narrowed.
The screen showed Zain, standing beside the infamous Velvet Demon.
His voice, his face, even his stance—everything matched. There was no glitch, no edit.
When the video ended, Neuro slowly removed the chip and looked at Blazren.
"There's no way."
He took a step back, rubbing his fingers across his chin.
"But the facial scan matches. Voice print? Identical. Movement patterns, posture, blink timing… all match."
Neuro frowned deeper, then tapped the side of his visor to recheck a few datasets.
"The attitude matches too. That arrogant tone, that detached confidence—it fits."
He shook his head once, clearly still confused.
"But how can this be possible? I ran threat scans on Zain weeks ago."
