They were in the car and Julio stared at her. Martha was confused and kept staring back at him, worried that any minute, he just might lash out at her.
"Your seatbelt." He finally said to her.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't think..." She said as she drew the seatbelt over her chest. Then she flashed him a nervous smile.
"Alright then. We have a long day ahead." He said to her as he started driving out.
He had a whole lot of things to do and there was so much on his mind at the moment. He had just gotten a new ability and he could not wait for opportunities to explore it. Perhaps, it was high time he started going out a lot.
"So, you disappear. Does this mean that we don't really need the car?" She asked him, finally breaking the uncomfortable silence between them both.
Julio cleared his throat and glanced her way.
"I'm sorry. I know I shouldn't question you but..." She started apologising when he cut her short.
