Julio drove quietly as he tried to keep his temper at bay. Beside him on the passenger's seat was Martha, scared to death and her fingers digging into her palms from how hard she was squeezing. He did not say anything to her until he had arrived at his destination. It was a bridge where he had passed one time but this one was leading to a beach. It was perfect. Too perfect to be ignored.
"We're here." He said to her and she looked at him fearfully.
"Please, I'm sorry. I never meant to do it. I can assure you that it was a harmless mistake." She said to him her thoughts that he had decided on what to do to her.
"What? You shut up and stay in the car. I'll be right back." Julio said to her and got down as he slammed the door shut after him.
