Advanced Applications:

⚙️ 1. Frame Decoy

Description:Naoya records a "ghost copy" of his past movement using cursed energy, creating an afterimage that plays out over exactly one second (24 frames). These decoys mimic his physical trajectory and cursed energy signature, forcing opponents to guess which version is the real one.

Combat Use:Frame Decoys are perfect for misdirection in high-speed combat. When timed correctly, they allow Naoya to bait attacks, escape counters, or land sneak hits while his opponent is focused on the wrong target.

⚙️ 2. Frame Fracture

Description:Naoya applies the 24-frame rule to non-living objects in the environment (e.g., ground, walls, air currents). Any interaction that "breaks" the set motion path—like stepping on trapped terrain or colliding with marked tree—causes an immediate cursed-energy rupture, resulting in an explosion or implosion.

Combat Use:This turns the battlefield into a death trap. Frame Fracture punishes fast movement and forces opponents to slow down or second-guess their actions. Even dodging Naoya becomes dangerous.

Limitations:

Cannot be applied to living beings.

Very cursed energy-intensive.

Naoya must "touch" the object directly to mark it.

⚙️ 3. 10-Second Freeze (Extended Application)

Description:Naoya can extend the normal "freeze" effect of Projection Sorcery on living targets up to 10 full seconds, turning his victim into a living statue. This allows him to inspect, interrogate, or position enemies without fear of retaliation.

Combat Use:

Can be used to trap and display dominance.

Ideal for interrogations, psychological attacks, or team coordination.

Drawbacks:

Cannot deal direct damage during the freeze.

Burns 20x more cursed energy than a standard freeze.

Naoya is unable to harm the target personally until the freeze ends (others can attack the frozen target).

⚙️ 4. cursed technique reversal: Projection Rewind

aka Spatial Warping ("Teleportation") –

Description:The evolved second layer of Projection Sorcery. Naoya flips the principle of time into space, fragmenting his past movements into discrete spatial "frames" and reassembling himself via Reverse Cursed Technique. This allows instantaneous relocation—similar to teleportation—within a specific range.

Mechanism:By cutting his path into snapshots and reversing the sequence, Naoya can "rewind" his position to a previously visited location.

Binding Vow – "Anchor Restriction":

Naoya can only warp to locations he physically traversed within the last 24 seconds.

Each warp burns an intense amount of cursed

⚙️ 5. Frame Phase (Intangibility) – Temporal Desynchronization

Description:By combining both the neutral application of the technique temporal locking of the 24FPS rule with the reversal technique Projection Rewind , Naoya learned to cut himself out of reality's frame grid. This creates a precise gap—a sliver of nonexistence between frames—where Naoya becomes completely intangible. In this in-between state, he cannot be touched, tracked, or harmed.

Mechanism:He exits the current timeline's frame and temporarily ceases to "exist" within standard space-time. Attacks pass through him harmlessly, and most sensory techniques cannot detect him while phased.

Activation Condition – Binding Vow:

Must form a specific hand sign to trigger intangibility.

Combat Use:

Evades lethal strikes

Moves through barriers, objects, and surprise zones unscathed

Ideal for assassinations, infiltration, or baiting attacks

Drawbacks & Limitations:

Cannot attack or interact with the world while intangible

Maximum duration: 5 minutes

Cursed energy cost escalates exponentially with time

Prolonged use causes "Glitch Effect"—visual frame distortions that temporarily leave him vulnerable

Can be bypassed or canceled by:

Domain Expansion

Domain Amplification

Anti-technique weapons (e.g., Inverted Spear of Heaven)

⚙️ 6. Air Freeze – Compressed Frame Suspension

Description:An environmental extension of Projection Sorcery, Air Freeze allows Naoya to apply the 24FPS rule not to people or objects—but to air itself. By targeting a defined pocket of space, he forces the air molecules within it to lock in place, freezing motion and pressure flow for exactly one second.

Mechanism:The air becomes a suspended "frame," trapped in cursed stasis. When Naoya strikes this airframe at the precise moment it unfreezes, the built-up kinetic tension collapses, releasing a violent pressure shockwave. It functions like an imploding vacuum—tearing through armor, organs, and even cursed energy barriers.

🕸️ Domain Expansion: Time Cell Moon Palace

(領域展開・時格月殿 | Ryōiki Tenkai: Jikaku Geden)

"Imagine a world where every movement is judged—frame by frame."

Description:Naoya's Domain is a magnificent yet terrifying construct built on his fully realized Projection Sorcery. It manifests as a golden corridor stretching infinitely in all directions, with walls adorned by animated murals of warriors frozen mid-battle. At its center looms a giant mechanical projector-eye, its pupil glowing like a camera lens, scanning every target with ruthless precision.

The domain traps all within it in a 24-frame-per-second temporal grid, subjecting every motion to strict scrutiny. Violate the frame rate—even by blinking too fast or shifting improperly—and the body pays the price.

Sure-Hit Effect: 24FPS Rule – Microscopic Frame Dissection

The Domain injects invisible strips of cursed film into each target's body, syncing them to the temporal grid. If a person moves outside of the 24-frame rhythm, their cells rupture, creating cuts, bursts of internal trauma, or even full limb detachment.

"Faith," Naoya says, watching his victims bleed, "is just motion without thought. And motion... gets punished."

Those who try to flee, flinch, or even breathe too sharply risk being torn apart at a molecular level. It is not just movement that is punished—it is imprecision.

that's it for now.
