They think I don't see it., the way The Alpha looks at her like she holds the moon in her palms. As if the troubles inside him quiets at her presence. But I see it clean and clear as the blood that's been spilled to put him on that throne. Our Princess, Alana, she's not just his Luna. She's his weakness. And if he won't admit it, the rest of us must act before it's too late.
I've led this Council longer than Alpha has drawn breath. I watched Alana's father command with fire and frost, but this Alpha… a nameless Alpha, he was is different.
There's a storm in him, a turbulent, unpredictable and dangerous one. We thought he would bring order but Instead, he brings fear. He hides behind tradition only when it suits him. The rest of the time? He rules like a wolf gone rogue.
