That night, I laid beside him like a log of wood with his arms around me. I couldn't move and it didn't surprise me.
I was a powerful nine tailed fox and a queen at that but I was reduced to nothing and my powers were now working against me. Several times I tried to activate anyone but they proved to be stubborn and I was left helpless.
At this point I was exhausted and as if to remind me of its presence, the child in my womb made me begin to feel uncomfortable.
'It's your fault I am in this mess.'
My mind bitterly said as I watched the ceiling with a heavy heart and the longer I did that, the more tears ran down the sides of my temples.
I had actually tried to get rid of the child but when Lanzon found out, he put a shield around my womb so I wouldn't be able to harm it no matter how much I tried.
Where are you Lanzon?
Why did you abandon me at a time like this?
Why did you leave without saying anything?
