"If you were to start life all over again, would you still pick your wife, Mr Flare?"
I sat in silence as I watched the interview between Flare and his wife, Rhema.
At first I turned the TV on to watch something like a normal human being only to bump into this. And they had been starting at that point in time and here I was, curiously watching them.
Actually, I was more focused on Flare. Throughout the interview he had his eyes on Rhema like she was the only woman in his eyes but that wasn't what I was seeing.
There was something in the way he looked at her. Yes he was looking at her but at the same time he wasn't. And his lips parted as he answered the question.
"Life is full of uncertainties but if I start life all over again where only Rhema existed then I'd pick her all over again," he answered and I frowned when my mind caught a word.
Only.
There was an underlying meaning to what he said and even the lady questioning them saw it.
