Ace's mind raced. How in the world did I get here?
He glanced around the room again, desperately searching for an explanation, a clue, anything that could shed light on this bizarre situation. Mt. Lady continued to slumber peacefully beside him, oblivious to his internal turmoil. He was lying on top of her bed. Ace breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that he was still fully clothed. Thank God.
He racked his brain, trying to recall the events of the previous night. The battle with Muscular, Ryutaros's impromptu press conference, the Pro Heroes converging on the scene… but everything after that was a blur. It was as if his memory had been wiped clean, leaving him stranded in this awkward, compromising position.
A sudden, chilling realization washed over him. This has to be Urataros's doing. The turtle Imagin was the only one among the Taros with the audacity, the suave charm, and the penchant for mischief to pull something like this off. He closed his eyes and focused his thoughts.
Urataros! he called out mentally, his voice laced with a mixture of exasperation and suspicion. Urataros, explain yourself, now! What is going on?!
Silence.
Ace grit his teeth. Urataros, I know you're listening. Don't play coy with me. How did I end up in this mess?
Finally, a voice, smooth and deceptively innocent, echoed in his mind.
Ace, my dear friend, what are you accusing me of? Urataros feigned shock, his mental tone dripping with mock indignation. Why would you think I had anything to do with this… predicament?
Because who else would do something like this? Ace retorted mentally, his patience wearing thin. Momotaros is too focused on fighting, Kintaros is sleeping most of the time, and Ryutaros is too… Ryutaros. That leaves you, Urataros. And knowing your… proclivities, I wouldn't put it past you to orchestrate this whole thing.
Urataros chuckled softly in his mind, a sound that sent shivers down Ace's spine. Oh, Ace, you wound me so. Do you really think I would stoop to such… blatant manipulation? I simply saw an opportunity to broaden your horizons, to introduce you to the finer things in life. Is it my fault that Mt. Lady finds you so irresistible?
Irresistible?! Ace spluttered mentally. How did you even manage this?! What did you even say?
Details, details, Ace. Urataros smoothly replied. But I can say she sure was hooked on me.
Just tell me what happened! How did things end up like this?!
Alright, alright. It went like this…
(Let's rewind back for a bit)
Earlier that evening, after defeating the latest Imagin, Ace trudged towards Starry, each step heavier than the last. Serving customers, rescuing cats, dealing with Imagins—it had been a long day. Physically and mentally, he felt drained.
You did good, Ace, Urataros chimed in, his tone unusually sincere. Why don't you let me take over? You deserve some rest.
Ace, grateful for the offer, didn't hesitate. Thanks, Urataros. I appreciate it. With a mental sigh of relief, he relinquished control, letting the turtle Imagin take the reins. As Ace drifted into a mental slumber, a blue highlight appeared in his hair, and stylish glasses materialized on his face—Urataros's signature look.
Urataros smirked, a mischievous glint in his eyes. He pulled out Ace's cellphone and swiftly dialed a familiar number.
"Yu-chan, are you ready for our date?" he purred into the phone, his voice dripping with practiced charm.
"Ace! I'm ready," Mt. Lady responded, her voice bubbling with excitement. "I've been looking forward to this all day."
"Excellent," Urataros purred. "Meet me at the usual spot. I'll be there in a few."
With the call concluded, Urataros hung up, a satisfied grin spreading across his face.
Urataros and Yu Takeyama, otherwise known as Mt. Lady, have been seeing each other for a while now, a fact unknown to Ace. This dalliance occurs during the stretches when Ace allows Urataros to take control. The turtle-themed Imagin sometimes uses these opportunities to seek out Pro Super Heroines, showering them with his practiced flirting. Mt. Lady is the one he managed to successfully charm.
Urataros made sure to keep Ace in the dark, meticulously planning their rendezvous in secret, even going so far as to keep the other Taros unaware. Keeping Momotaros in the dark was simple; a little spicy pepper in his drinks, and he'd be out cold. Kintaros was usually asleep anyway, so Urataros didn't have to do much to keep him from finding out. He just had to bribe Ryutaros with some snacks to keep him quiet.
Urataros made a detour to a high-end clothing store, picking out a suave ensemble that screamed 'effortlessly cool.' Gone were Ace's plain jeans and t-shirt, replaced by designer denim, a silk dress shirt, and a stylish blazer. With a wink to his reflection, he strutted out, ready to impress.
Arriving at their meeting place, a secluded park known for its cherry blossoms, Urataros spotted Yu. She wore a summer dress that showed off her figure and complemented her blonde hair. The fabric emphasized her curves.
Yu beamed as she saw him, her eyes sparkling with delight. "Ace!" she called out, her voice full of anticipation. She rushed toward him, closing the distance in a heartbeat.
Before Urataros could unleash a charming greeting, Yu wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a tight embrace. "I've missed you," she whispered, her breath warm against his ear.
Urataros chuckled, returning the hug with equal enthusiasm. "The pleasure is all mine, Yu-chan," he purred. "You look absolutely ravishing."
Yu giggled, pulling back slightly to admire his new outfit. "And you, darling, look incredibly handsome. Did you do something different with your hair?" She reached up, twirling the blue streak. "I love it!"
Urataros winked. "Only the best for you, my dear." He took her hand, leading her toward a secluded path beneath the cherry blossoms. "Now, tell me, what delightful plans do you have for our evening?"
Yu playfully batted her eyelashes. "If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise, now would it? Just trust me, darling. You're going to enjoy every second." With that, she tugged him along, her excitement contagious.
The evening unfolded like a scene from a romantic movie. They strolled hand-in-hand through the park, laughing as they fed the ducks. Then they went to a fancy restaurant. They sang karaoke, and laughed a lot. Urataros, ever the charmer, serenaded Yu with a love song, his smooth voice captivating her. With each shared moment, Yu's affection for him seemed to grow, her eyes sparkling with genuine warmth.
As the night drew to a close, Yu led Urataros to her apartment. The place reeked of money. She led him inside, the air thick with anticipation. She turned to face him, her expression a mix of nervousness and desire.
"Okay, Ace," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I have one last surprise for you. But you have to promise to follow my instructions."
Urataros raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "And what might those be, my dear?"
"Sit on the bed," she instructed, gesturing to her plush king-size mattress. "Close your eyes, and whatever you do, don't peek."
Urataros chuckled, playing along with her game. "As you wish, my love." He sauntered over to the bed, settling onto the soft surface. He closed his eyes, a playful grin tugging at his lips.
A moment of silence hung in the air, broken only by the rustling of fabric. Urataros could sense Yu moving around him, her presence growing more intense with each passing second.
"Okay, Ace," she finally said, her voice husky and breathy. "You can open your eyes now."
Urataros slowly opened his eyes and gasped. Yu stood before him, her summer dress discarded on the floor, revealing a curvaceous figure. Her skin shimmered in the soft light, her eyes burning with unbridled desire.
Urataros, for once, was speechless. He had always appreciated beauty, but the sight of Yu in her full glory was almost overwhelming. He found himself captivated by her confidence.
Yu took a step closer, her hand reaching out to caress his cheek. "I want to get closer to you, Ace," she whispered, her voice a seductive invitation. "I want to cement what we have."
Urataros's mind raced. As much as he enjoyed the thrill of the chase, the idea of taking things to the next level was something he knew Ace wouldn't want. Ace always acted as a moral compass, and this was a little too much for him. He gently pressed his fingers against her lips, silencing her words.
"As much as I want to, Yu-chan," he said softly, his voice laced with regret. "It's still too soon. I don't want to rush things. You're special, and I want our first time to be perfect." He then started spewing lines of excuses he saw on tv.
Yu's expression softened, her eyes reflecting a mixture of understanding and disappointment. "I understand," she said quietly. "I just... I care about you so much, Ace. I just want to show you how much."
Urataros smiled, his heart touched by her sincerity. "And you do, my dear," he assured her. "You show me every day." He pulled her closer, wrapping his arms around her. "How about we just cuddle? That works right?"
Yu snuggled into his embrace, her body pressed against his. "That sounds perfect," she whispered, her voice laced with contentment.
They lay there for a long time, their bodies intertwined, their hearts beating in unison. Urataros, despite his earlier intentions, found himself succumbing to the warmth and comfort of Yu's embrace. The soft mattress, the gentle rhythm of her breathing, all lulled him into a state of blissful tranquility. He had planned to sneak out in the middle of the night, leaving Yu none the wiser, but he underestimated how exhausted Ace's body was and how incredibly comfortable it was to sleep beside her.
