Chapter 149 - Chapter:148 Pharaoh’s Chariot

Chapter — Pharaoh's Chariot, Blood Coin Resurrection

The battlefield still trembled beneath the weight of Anzeyt's forbidden technique.

The golden pyramid, colossal and divine, sat crushing Napoleon deep into the earth. Cracks had splintered through the surrounding city; dust and rubble floated in the suffocating air.

But then—

CRRRAAAACKKKK.

A jagged fissure split across the side of the golden pyramid.

Anzeyt's eyes widened sharply, disbelief flashing across his scarred face.

"He's… able to crack the holy pyramid?" he muttered in shock. "Very well, then. I shall double its power."

Without hesitation, Anzeyt gripped his royal scepter tightly and rotated it through the air.

The heavens tore open once again with a deafening roar.

FWWOOOOOOMM!!!

From the wound in the sky, another Jupiter-sized pyramid hurtled downward, this one descending faster and with even greater divine fury. Its golden surface glistened against the sun as it closed the distance between heaven and earth in mere seconds.

BAAAAAAAAAAMMM!!!

It slammed down atop the first pyramid, the combined force pressing Napoleon deeper beneath the soil, as if the gods themselves declared judgment.

Anzeyt, hovering midair in his transformed Monarch Pharaoh state, exhaled heavily and turned toward Knight Óðr, who had reformed atop a nearby crumbling building.

Óðr dissolved into crows again, flickering across the sky before reforming beside him.

"Is it over?" Óðr asked, his voice wary.

Anzeyt nodded.

"It is. The pyramids' properties prevent anything from escaping once touched."

"Right now, Napoleon Bonaparte's Shen is sealed… and all that runs through his veins is liquid gold."

Óðr blinked.

"What do you mean…?"

Anzeyt smiled grimly.

"The golden properties are sacred… they will eat away at him slowly. His death is inevitable."

Inside the Egypt Hunter Headquarters, Osiris and the other soldiers watched the battlefield through giant monitors.

When the second pyramid struck, the entire control room erupted into cheers.

"He's dead!"

"Anzeyt won!"

"Egypt is saved!"

Osiris, however, remained still a cold shiver running down his spine.

Back outside, Knight Óðr turned to Anzeyt.

"But… you said using that technique would kill you."

Anzeyt chuckled.

"If I had used it in full with the amount of Shen I have right now , yes. But luckily, I didn't have to unleash its full form…"

"Seems fate was kind this day"

Before he could finish, something exploded in front of him.

SPLOOOOSH!!!

Knight Óðr's teeth flew through the air.

His head burst like a shattered melon BOOOM!

His body was flung violently backwards, smashing through several buildings in a twisted, mangled heap.

Anzeyt froze.

The twin pyramids once golden—lwere now glowing a horrific crimson.

They levitated slowly into the air, cracks bleeding red mist into the sky.

From the depths, standing atop a massive red coin, arose Napoleon Bonaparte.

But he was no longer whole.

Half his face was burned away, revealing a grinning, blackened skull.

His arms were skeletal, patches of charred skin hanging from exposed bones.

Still he laughed.

A hoarse, terrifying laughter that echoed like a death knell.

"ANZEYYYYYYYT!"

"Entertain me more!!"

"It's been so long… since I was pushed this close to death!"

"You are WORTHY!"

"AND NOW—"

"I SHALL RETURN THE FAVOR!"

Napoleon thrust out both hands.

The twin pyramids, corrupted red, rushed forward, hurling toward Anzeyt with murderous velocity.

Anzeyt reacted instantly.

WHIRRRR—!

He spun his scepter forward.

CRACK!

The pyramids shattered into hundreds of crimson shards, scattering through the sky like bloodied glass.

But Napoleon only smiled wider.

He whispered an ancient incantation:

"Manipulation de pièces multiples… Peste des pièces rouges!"

("Multiple Coin Manipulation: Red Coin Plague!")

From between his fingers, Napoleon spun a single red coin.

The fragments of the shattered pyramids shifted mid-air each shard morphed into a red coin, totaling hundreds.

And in a heartbeat

SFX: WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!

The coins shot toward Anzeyt like a hellish storm.

Each coin pierced through Anzeyt's body — chest, limbs, shoulders — blood spraying out in violent bursts. (SFX: SPLAT-SPLAT-SPLAT!)

The sheer force sent him spiraling downward, crashing into the earth below.

BOOOM!

A crater formed where he landed, smoke rising into the blood-red sky.

But Anzeyt wasn't done.

Through the dust, he hovered upward again, wounds rapidly healing, blue and gold energy knitting his torn flesh back together.

His eyes locked on Napoleon, burning with ancient fire.

"I wonder…" he panted, "…how you escaped the pyramids?"

Napoleon chuckled, twirling a red coin.

"It's simple, boy."

"This red coin… it can MEND itself into any energy -generated attack and seize control over it."

"Your pyramids? They became MY weapon."

"There is no way to defeat me, little king."

Anzeyt narrowed his eyes, scepter glowing with sacred light.

"I figured you had a hidden card left…"

"Good."

"I needed to see it before I sent you off properly."

Napoleon grinned mockingly and asked him the very question he asked him

Earlier,

"How Would you like to meet your maker in one piece… or in COIN pieces?"

Anzeyt answered with a grim smile and then He raised his scepter, declaring:

"King's Will: Pharaoh Chariot!"

He turned slightly, as if looking directly into a hidden camera.

Inside the Hunter Headquarters, Osiris watched through tear-stained eyes.

Through some unknown bond, he heard his father's last words echo within him:

"This ability runs deep within you, Osiris. I wasn't able to perfect it… but I believe you will. And I leave this nation in your hands, I love you… forever, my beloved son."

Tears rolled freely down Osiris' cheeks.

Back on the battlefield

Reality itself split open behind Anzeyt.

A divine war chariot materialized golden and adorned with intricate hieroglyphs, pulled by ethereal horses made of blazing Shen fire. The chariot's wheels glowed like twin suns, and embedded into its structure were 360 mounted Shen bows ready to unleash divine judgment.

VROOOOM!!!

The chariot rocketed forward, breaking the sound barrier and shattering the light spectrum itself.

Before Napoleon could react

THIP-THIP-THIP-THIP-THIP-THIP-THIP!

360 arrows slammed into his body in an instant through his skull, chest, arms, spine.

He barely had time to whisper:

"…How…?"

His body was torn apart — dead before he even hit the ground.

Anzeyt's transformation crumbled.

He, too, began to free fall, body spent.

Both warriors once gods among men plummeted like broken stars to the earth.

But deep inside Napoleon's mutilated corpse…

A flickering flame refused to die.

It was the hidden blessing of Lord Arcade.

Even in slumber, even with his powers suppressed, Arcade could still manipulate the boundary of life and death using Draven's lingering powers.

Napoleon's dead body stirred.

With mechanical, mindless motion, it blitzed forward across the ruins of Cairo.

He reached the great pyramid site, smashed through the remnants, and with bloody, broken hands…

Retrieved the Egyptian Yggdrasil Box hidden

Inside the control center, Osiris screamed:

"STOP HIM!!!"

But the general placed a firm hand on his shoulder.

"Calm yourself, my King."

"Your father and Knight Óðr are gone. There's nothing more we can do today."

Napoleon's corpse, now possessed by Lord Arcade's dormant will, began moving toward The Ten's hidden base, carrying the Yggdrasil piece back before his soul could fully vanish into the afterlife.

Meanwhile

Far away in the frosty edges of the world…

Only two Yggdrasil boxes remained.

One with Alexander the Great at SUHA's Moon Base.

And the last, hidden in Greenland, protected by SUHA's strongest Hunter, Sir Varion.

In the icy Greenland mountains

BOOOOMMMM!!!

A mountain erupted, shattered into dust and debris.

From the ruins, two figures emerged.

Sir Varion, brushing snow from his royal armor, chuckled.

"Oh, Prince Saka how did you .. wow …"

"You're strong enough to destroy a mountain with your technique now. I'm impressed."

Sakamoto, laughing lightly, rubbed the back of his head.

"It's not perfect yet I guess… but I'm getting there."

The winds howled louder.

On a distant peak, a dark figure appeared, arms crossed.

His voice echoed through the frozen wasteland:

"Varion, Varion… must be nice to see you again, brother."

Below him, Solomon — Sir Varion's regent — tensed.

"Boss… you feel that?"

Sir Varion nodded grimly.

"Definitely."

The next storm was about to begin.
