After leaving the royal palace, Chen Yi made his way home with familiarity.
Yin Tingxue had mostly recovered, no longer looking frail and sickly. After dinner, Chen Yi called her over to prepare tea. Her technique was simple but practiced, and while her tea was not remarkable, it wasn't bad either.
Watching Yin Tingxue obediently serve him tea, Chen Yi couldn't help but feel a ripple in his heart.
"Come here."
Chen Yi said directly.
Yin Tingxue turned around upon hearing this, tiptoeing nervously to his side.
Chen Yi took the tea from her hands and sipped lightly.
Although the daughter of the Prince of Xiang wasn't skilled in serving others, she knew how to brew tea. The tea's flavor was average but not lacking.
"Is it good?"
"It's okay."
Chen Yi said, putting down the teacup and kissing her forehead.
