Antares excitedly pointed at the imposing tower behind Eli and Levi who were kneeling in front of him.
They gave him a look of disbelief because only those chosen by the ant God had the ability to open the tower and it had been less than week since Antares had woken up and he already wanted to investigate the tower. And on top of that he was a regular ant king, so they naturally doubted him.
Seeing their eyes of disbelief, Antares to show them that it wasn't impossible for him to enter the tower.
He stood up and gestured them to follow him, and they followed.
As they walked to the tower's entrance doors, Antares looked at the field in which it was located in, honestly, he was pleased with what he was seeing, even though they were underground, the plant life didn't wither but it flourished even better.
Reaching in front of the tower's doors, Antares placed his palm on them.

Whenever an ant king who had access to the tower died or wasn't able to use it, the tower would go into a hibernating mode till a worthy ant king appeared.

Suddenly the tower could be seen glowing faintly with a red hue.

Antares smiled as he saw the system notification. "Open." He said as he crossed his arms and the thick doors blocking the entrance of the tower opened themselves the moment he said it, it was as if the tower was connected to his brain.
He was greeted by a flight of stairs which led to the first floor. He followed the stairs and they led him to the first floor.
As he climbed the stairs, Levi and Eli were frozen in place because they had never seen the ant king's tower open in their lifetime and even Antares' father, lord Henry had not managed to open it.
This meant that Antares was chosen by the ant God himself because it was common knowledge in the tribe that the ant king's tower only responded to an ant king selected by the ant Gog himself, Antares may have not known it but it was a very big deal to the people of his tribe because ant kings who had access to the tower could be counted with less than two hands.
They snapped out their daze and ran after Antares who had already entered and was in the middle of the first floor, as they entered, they expected to find exotic designs and many wonders that their eyes had not seen but the first floor had nothing special about.
On Antares' side, he observed the first floor but he was not that disappointed because the system had already told him that there was nothing special here and he expected the second and third floor to be the same. But he had hope that he could find use for them in the nearby future.
The size of the floor could be compared to that of four football fields, they were quite big and Antares was feeling bad for his guards who have to walk while he could just bring out his wings and head to the next floor.

As he was preparing himself to communicate the dire news to his guards a system notification popped out.
Levi and Eli had already reached him by the time the notification popped out.
"You two spread out and look around and see if there is something suspicious here." Antares said as he gestured his guards to leave.
Following Antares' orders, the two spread oud and went to look around the first floor.
"What skills are we talking about?" Antares asked with a calm voice but he could not entirely hide his excitement. As a person from the modern era, Antares had played a number of video games and read a lot of Mangas and novels, mainly in the sword and magic category.
He wanted to see if he would have a cool ability like flying, well he already had it but he had not tried it yet. But he wanted know if he could get a cool ability like breathing fire or laser eyes.
[In the ant king's tower, the host can use abilities which are only usable in the tower.]
" Damn it, I was close to my overpowered future." He said as he let go of his dreams of showing off in public with his overpowered abilities. "Okay list them down."

Synchro - the tower is connected to the host through a soul link and anything that happens in the tower the host will be aware of it. The tower is now an extension of the host's body. Making it that only those permitted by the host can access the tower and its benefits.
Blessed space – The tower is packed with different levels of mana on different floors, specific floors can be used for different trainings, cultivations and seclusions. And the people the host permits to enter the tower gain a boost in training efficiency and it is easier for them and the host to get stronger here.
Floor Customization – The host can reshape the structure of a floor and add several features on it such as weather, time, temperature and environment. More customization features can be added as the host unlocks them as he becomes stronger.
Instant teleportation – The host can freely teleport on any floor on the tower by just thinking of it.
Antares looked at the panel lit by ethereal blue light and he was stunned by his abilities.
The first ability was not something that shocked him and he kind of expected it since the moment the tower's doors opened by his command, the second ability, blessed space which would enable him to train himself and his ant soldiers at a faster rate, with this he could create a strong standing army,the third ability floor customization could help him let his imagination go wild by creating various things in the tower from his imagination, he wondered if he could create a beach themed floor where he could take Zarah on a date but that was something he would research on another day and finally, the fourth ability instant teleportation...… let's just say it made him remember of the TV show of alien monkey that could use this same ability which he looked up to when he was a kid, he had watched this show over and over, he even tried to use this ability but it ended in a big failure whenever he tried it. But this time it would be different.
But he wondered one thing. "What if I want to teleport with other things." Antares asked.

Relieved by the answer of the system, Antares wanted to try it immediately.
"LEVI ELI TO ME NOW.". Antares called his guards with a firm voice which directly alerted his guards and in a blink of and eye they appeared kneeling on one knee in front of him.
"We are here lord Antares." They answered simultaneously.
"We are going to the second floor." Antares said calmly "both of you grab my shoulders if you don't want to get left behind." The duo was a bit confused but want he said but they knew better than to question the actions of their lord.
They stood up and positioned themselves behind Antares and grabbed his shoulder.
"Alright, buckle up." Antares said the catch phrase of the alien monkey show he was watching as a child, it was one of the rare moments he missed his old world, but this was now his new reality and he was not going to let anyone ruin it for him.
In the middle of the second floor, where they had been standing the trio disappeared and appeared in the middle the second floor.
"Looks like it's the same as the previous floor." Eli said as he looked around.
"Yeah, lets proceed to the next floor. "Antares said as the disappeared to appeared in the middle of the third floor. But still it was the same, twins were losing faith because they had expected to watch something otherworldly because they were told of the wonderful things found in the ant king's tower but now, they were only inspecting empty floors.
Seeing the disappointment on their faces, Antares chuckled, "Don't worry, you are about to witness something way better than this." Antares encouraged them.
Immediately, Antares teleported them to the fourth floor.
Currently and Antares and CO were standing in a hall way which was particularly big and long and it was lit by torches.
They quietly followed the path and after a few minutes of walking in silence with Antares at the front, they reached fortified door which made Antares think of the doors in banks which he had seen in banks on his study tours when he was a student.
The fortified made of a black metal that he could not recognize, but it had an emblem on it he recognized from the memories of the previous Antares.
The emblem on it was the tribal Emblem of the Ant Tribe, it was the frontal view of an ant's head with majestic antennae with beady black eyes and strong looking mandibles. With a crown on top. The emblem was red but the eyes of the ant were black.
"Finally, here we are." Antares thought as he placed his palm on the emblem the door.
