Chapter 23 - CHAPTER 23: A LOOMING THREAT

Principal Anthony offered a reassuring smile. "Oh no, no, he hasn't created any big trouble. At your request, we never expelled him from school, and moreover, even after studying in our school for four consecutive years, he hasn't tamed a single monster or even a single animal. And you know that if anyone has to stay in our monster taming school, they have to tame some monster or some animal within five years, and this was his last year. In about two to three months, this year would have ended, and he would have been forced to leave school."

He paused, a shadow of regret crossing his face. "But because of some of my work, I had assigned some work to some teachers, one of whom didn't like John at all, and she treated John very badly, and I have come to apologize for that. She even expelled John from school by using my power. So, I feel very bad. And actually," he hesitated, "John has beaten up two people, one of whom we have managed because he wasn't from a big family, but the other one, whose name is Peter, comes from the Williamson family, so we might have some trouble with them because he has now crossed all his limits and is looking for the one who beat up his son."

A palpable tension filled the room as Principal Anthony finished speaking. The name Williamson carried weight, a silent acknowledgment of power and influence.

Dr. James broke the heavy silence. "If John has beaten up a child from the Williamson family, it means the Williamson family won't sit quietly."

Luna turned to John, her initial worry now tinged with a hint of exasperation. "John, why did you beat up those two? I mean, I know everyone must have been bothering you, but there must have been some reason for beating them up like that, right?" Her voice was gentle, laced with concern rather than anger.

Before John could offer an explanation, Principal Anthony drew their attention back to himself. "Look, whatever happened there, I can't explain it to you. I mean, this matter hasn't gone out of our college yet, and I want only Dr. Thomas and us to know about it, so we can't tell you. But it would be better if you saw everything that happened there in the camera yourself, and you can clearly find out about the fight that took place there and those things." He looked at the assembled doctors, seeking their agreement.

They nodded, a silent consensus forming. The mystery surrounding John's actions at school deepened. A decision was made, and they all prepared to leave the hospital room. John felt a wave of awkwardness wash over him. He had stormed out of school in a fit of anger, and now he was returning, the circumstances unclear and potentially volatile.
