Lily Turner was so distrusting of herself, and aside from pulling her into his arms, Easton Holmes could only sigh helplessly.
"Don't worry, I just want to hold you while we sleep." He wrapped his arms tighter around her, and when he felt her struggling, he lowered his head and warned, "You better behave and don't move, or I won't just be holding you to sleep."
This girl kept wriggling in his embrace, making his heart itch. If she didn't stop soon, he feared he wouldn't be able to control his impulsive emotions.
Despite Easton Holmes' warning, Lily Turner didn't stop being restless. She lifted her head and glared at him discontentedly, "Threatening a pregnant woman like this is bound to get you struck by lightning."
"I'm not afraid of being struck by lightning because I'm an atheist." Easton Holmes gave a mischievous smile and quickly kissed Lily Turner's cheek. Before she could flare up, he had already raised his head away from her cheek.
