The Elf Forest seemed to suddenly come alive, with birds chirping, trees conversing, and the sound of water flowing, all joining the grand choir of the elves. All the natural elves clearly expressed this concept with their voices: Even if their Tree of Life withered, the song would never cease, and the battle would never end.
The sound traveled far, as if propelled by a magical force, reaching the clouds and directly into the sky. Lynch and Kuboert, in the Residual Star Swamp, also clearly heard this.
They were now hiding behind the trees at the edge of the wetland, trying to keep their bodies as low as possible. Kuboert, soaked in the puddle, grumbled about his Holy Robe being stained with the black mud here, but seeing the same stains on the Mage Robe of Lynch beside him, he silently endured it.
