Tang Xi returned home that evening.
She did not rest well throughout the night, and the next day when she got up, her eyes were bloodshot. There were signs of fatigue under her eyelids, and she lightly applied makeup to cover the dark circles.
After sending her daughter to school, Tang Xi took the man's suit to the dry cleaner's to be cleaned. Upon seeing the suit, the clerk called over the manager. The suit had no washing label, but it was not your ordinary brand; it was a high-end custom-made piece. When Tang Xi was about to pay, she glanced at the price.
So expensive?
She looked at the clerk, "Can't you offer a little discount?"
Cleaning a suit, and four digits were gone.
It was outrageous.
The manager said, "Madam, this suit is from a private handcrafted brand in Italy. This brand requires special care for cleaning, and the price is reasonable." The manager looked at Tang Xi, "Madam, would you like to proceed with the cleaning?"
