"Pfft..." Titus Zane laughed out loud, setting down the wine glass on the table, covering her lips with one hand, unable to conceal the hidden amusement in her gaze as she looked down.
After the laughter, she lifted her eyes, where the flickering candle flame mirrored the fluttering heart of the man opposite her.
Wesley Foley stared, entranced, then saw her slightly raise her elegant brows as she asked.
"Are you always this direct?"
Looking into Titus Zane's eyes brimming with mirth, Wesley's handsome face took on a serious expression, his gaze misty with the dancing candlelight, appearing earnest.
