It had been a couple hours since Zaldos had flown off and I made camp on the edge of a forest. I had learnt where I ended up, somehow by the grace of the llama god, I was still in Kanto.
Somehow by the port of Vermillion City, it was like I did a whole damn trip back. Kinda impressive, but I guess that's what happens when you fly at extreme speeds for four hours straight with the intention of escaping Team Rocket.

Anyway, now I was kinda just enjoying myself by doom scrolling through the internet. Least the equivalent of it here.
Well that was what I had been doing, until I got a call, oh, it's from Cynthia. Do I answer it or go to sleep?
I do want to sleep right now, but it would be incredibly rude to ignore her, especially in this kind of situation. Guess I'll answer then.
"Raven are you ok!?" Awwww she cared if I was ok.
"Peachy. I escaped the ship with the help of one of my Pokemon and a friend." I replied after a moment of internal swooning, because fuck I'm down bad.
"That's good, what about the egg?"
"Zapdos came and picked his child up." I replied and snickered as I could practically feel her shocked face from here.
"Huh?"
"Sorry, classified info." I just didn't quite want to talk about it over a cell service that could potentially be hacked on her end. I've got the ark phone, this shit ain't being hacked.
"I see. Well I'm glad to know you made it out ok and safe. I'm not sure when we can meet again, but if you want to…"
Squeeeeee! Ok, stop being down bad and focus on the conversation.
"I'm always down to meet with a beautiful woman like you Cynthia, always~" Nailed it just like the romans!
"I guess I'll be expecting a invite to meet sometime then~" Oh she definitely can fire back good too.
Did she just hang up?
Fuck, she's a woman after my heart.
"Well that happened." I laughed softly as I scratched Koraidon's chin before slipping my way into the sleeping bag I had and enjoying a night under the stars with my Pokemon.

"I am so fucking lost."
It was offical. I may have regained my sense of direction and ascended past Zoro, but I still just suck at them apparently.
"It's to be expected of master though." Koraidon chuckled as she kept going in the direction I pointed.
"None of that now!" I waved my finger at her despite knowing she couldn't see it as I was on her back.
"Bzzt, you are almost at Celadon City, make a make a right turn and go straight."
Rotom for the win!
"You heard them Koraidon, book it!" I grinned and tightened my leg grip on her sides as I held my egg close to my chest. She cackled before blasting off.

"We made it!" I cheered as I walked up to the entrance of the city, egg clutched to my chest and Koraidon back in her pokeball.
We only need three more gym badges, then I'd feel comfortable about not worrying for attempts to steal her. Maybe I should teach her [Hyper Beam] for shits and giggles.
If the flying type master himself endorses it, then it must be good no?
Team rocket grunts go boom and then ashes, if any of those remained at least.
Thats the plan then! Oh, actually all my team can learn it. What Pokémon can't learn it? I'm pretty sure only in the early versions of the game Dratini couldn't learn [Hyper Beam] as one of its moves.
"Hmm, good for thought." I mumbled before I made my way through Celadon to find the gym, which means just looking for the biggest building in the city. It's definitely gonna be a glass building, so probably in a more open area.
Ah ha! Found it!
Walking into the gym front door, I found a waiting style room.
"Welcome in, are you here to register for a gym battle?" A girl at one of the desk asked.
"Yes. I was wondering when the soonest opening available is?" I asked smiling.
"T-tomorrow afternoon at 1:30pm." She stuttered at the beginning with a blush and I smiled as I leaned down closer to the counter, mindful of my egg of course.
"Perfect~, can you book that for Raven Inanis, sixth gym badge battle." I inwardly smirked at her flustered face, honestly these girls were fucking thirsty in the Pokemon world, and a bit easy at times.
"Of course sir. 1:30pm for Raven Inanis, sixth badge, registered. See you soon." She said and I smiled as I looked down at her name tag.
"Thank you Amy, I hope you have a pleasant day~"
"Y-you too sir."

"Alright everyone, we have our next gym badge against Erika and her grass types tomorrow in the afternoon at 1:30pm." I said to everyone after I made lunch, I had chosen to retreat to the forest for some training and freedom.
"What can we expect?" Lapras asked excited and I smiled at him.
"Grass types." I returned amused as everyone chuckled as Lapras poured and splashed me with a bit of water.
"Hehe kidding kidding, now she most likely will use four pokemon, possibly five, but most likely four. We can be expecting these pokemon to appear." I tapped at my phone enhanced by Rotom and holograms appeared, because why wouldn't the pokemon world have them?
"Jumpluff. It will most likely be used to set up a [Leech Seed] and [Sunny Day], before using [Giga Drain] or [U-Turn] depending on which one of you starts off. It is a Grass/Flying type. It's fast and defensive against non physical attacks. So whoever starts off will need to be fast and decisive in attacking them, so most likely Haunter. [Leech Seed] is annoying to deal with over a prolonged time." I said as I swiped to the next pokemon.
"Tangela, though it's possible it's in its evolved form, Tangrowth. Its defensive power isn't to far from Koraidon's if evolved. Pure Grass type. You can expect moves like [Anicent Power] [Giga Drain] [Sleep Poweder] and [Wring Out]. The last one does more damage the better condition you're in, so don't let it wrap you in thread. Luckily no matter the form, it is slow as hell. So anyone here can out speed it. Koraidon you will most likely be in charge of dealing with this." I said as she nodded happily.
"Next up we have Victreebel. It's got attacking power, but in everything else it's not the best. It's a Grass/Poison type. Expect moves like [Leaf Storm] [Razor Leaf] [Grass Knot] and [Sunny Day]. If you're fast you can avoid most it's moves. In your case Lapras, today we can work on some kind of shield to protect you from major damage from grass type moves." I said with a hum as I swiped again.
"Why do they all have [Sunny Day] as moves? They aren't fire types." Sylveon asked and I grinned.
"It's for [Solar Beam], they can just fire it off. A powerful moves not needing the required charging time is a massive boon. Lapras this will be a big issue as it will deal a lot of damage to you especially as a water type." I said as I lazily chucked a leaf at Lapras who had it land on his head.
"Hey, get it off!" He pouted as it wouldn't fall off his head. Sylveon took pity and swiped it with her ribbons.
(Why did it take my blankly staring at my screen for 15 mins to remember they're called ribbons lmfao!?)
"Finally we have Bellossom. Pure grass type. It may or may not hold a Sitrus Berry, so we'll have play around with that. It's not a fast pokemon, it's health and physical attacks can be considered about average. However its defense, special defense and special attack are somewhat above average. Its most likely to have the moves [Sunny Day] [Giga Drain] [Solar Beam] and [Synthesis]. It can replicate the effects of [Sunny Day] using [Synthesis] as energy for an attack instead of healing itself." I finished up as I stored my phone away.
"Koraidon I wanted you to practice your [Flamethrower] and other fire type moves. Sylveon work on using your ribbons to pull yourself out of the way of attacks and adding to your momentum. Haunter, work on shrinking the size of [Shadow Pillar] and see if you can use it as an extension of yourself to fire off attacks. Lapras, we will be working on using your water attacks and freezing them as shields. Your [Ice Beam] and [Ice Shard] can do good damage." I declared as our training today.
I also started doing some physical workouts myself, I had wrapped a heating blanket around the egg though in a spot visible to use all, and close enough for my to immediately grab it in case anything happens.
