Chapter 99 - Chapter 99

Soon, Rosalyne came out after changing into the shrine maiden outfit.

Akio's eyes lit up with admiration. La Signora's figure was a perfect fit for clothes (and other things). Even the loose-fitting red and white shrine maiden outfit looked tight on her.

Her ample chest showcased her stunning charm and natural gifts.

"Master… this outfit might be a bit small. It's uncomfortably tight," Rosalyne said as she walked over, looking a little awkward.

It had taken her a lot of effort to put it on. The tightness around her chest was painful, and she was having trouble breathing.

"But this is the largest size I have," Yae Miko said, her eyes filled with envy. Damn it! What did this woman eat to grow like that?

"Just wear it for now. I'll take your measurements later and have a new one made for you," Yae Miko waved her hand.

"Alright," Rosalyne nodded, though she kept adjusting the outfit because it was just too tight.

"Yae Miko and Kitsune Saiguu are both my wives. You must listen to them as you would listen to me. Understand?" Akio said.

"I understand, Master," Rosalyne nodded, sighing inwardly. She thought she'd only have to serve one person, but it turned out Akio was a man with two wives?

"Prepare for Makoto to issue a second Vision Hunt Decree. This time, the target will be the Delusions," Akio said with a frown. The effects of the Delusions must not be allowed to spread. For those without power, the desire for it is like a poison that's impossible to resist, harming both themselves and others. This would lead to social unrest.

"What about Watatsumi Island?" Yae Miko asked.

"Just issue the order there as well," Akio said. "The Divine Priestess should understand the dangers of the Delusions. She won't let them circulate."

"That's true," Yae Miko nodded. Sangonomiya Kokomi wasn't a fool. She would definitely take action to manage the Delusion situation.

The news of the end of the Vision Hunt Decree spread throughout Inazuma, and those with Visions cheered with joy.

Although the Sakoku Decree hadn't been fully lifted yet, foreign trade in Ritou was now completely open. While foreign travelers were still not allowed to enter, merchants could now conduct trade in Ritou.

Hiiragi Chisato had been learning under Raiden Makoto for over a week, and even Makoto couldn't stop praising her. She had high hopes for Chisato.

"This girl will be a competent Kanjou Commissioner. She's the smartest and most capable young woman I've ever met," Raiden Makoto praised, even encouraging Chisato to take charge of the Kanjou Commission's affairs.

Today in Ritou, the Alcor once again broke through the storm and arrived.

Beidou was puzzled. She looked at Lumine on the ship and said, "Back when the Sakoku Decree was in place, the thunderstorms around Inazuma were terrifying. But now, the storms are gone? Has the Sakoku Decree been lifted? That can't be. I haven't received any news about it."

Lumine shook her head, indicating she didn't know either. Paimon shrugged and said, "Maybe the Raiden Shogun came to her senses?"

"Who knows?" Beidou laughed heartily. She didn't care about these things and said, "Traveler, if you see Lord Akio again, please give him my regards. We'll part ways here. I need to contact some merchants in the area."

Lumine nodded, and Paimon waved, "Beidou, thank you!"

"It's nothing," Beidou smiled and left.

Lumine and Paimon officially set foot in Inazuma. The weather in Inazuma today was clear and beautiful, lifting their spirits.

Just then, two Kanjou Commission samurai on duty in Ritou walked over and stopped Lumine and Paimon.

"Hello! I don't recognize you. Please show your travel permit," one of the samurai said.

"Huh? A travel permit? We don't have one," Paimon said, and Lumine shook her head.

"No travel permit? Then I'm afraid you'll have to turn back," the samurai said. "Inazuma is still under the Sakoku Decree. Ritou is only open to merchants for trade, not travelers."

"Can't we apply for a travel permit?" Paimon asked.

"Sorry, according to the rules set by the Acting Commissioner of the Kanjou Commission, we're not currently issuing visas to travelers," the samurai shook his head. "If you're a merchant, please bring your goods to the Kanjou Commission for inspection."

"What do we do, Lumine? It seems we can't get in," Paimon said, frustrated.

"We have this," Lumine said calmly, taking out the Divine Official's Token that Akio had given her.

"Oh, right!" Paimon exclaimed. "This is the thing Akio gave us… um… I think it's called the Divine Official's Token."

"Here, this is the token Akio gave us. He said we could use it as proof when we arrived," Lumine handed the token to the samurai.

"Akio is your Great Divine Sovereign, right?" Paimon added.

"Lord Akio?!" The Kanjou Commission samurai, of course, knew who Akio was. They exchanged glances and looked at the token in their hands. They didn't recognize the Divine Official's Token, but the triple tomoe emblem and the Sacred Sakura insignia on it were something no one in Inazuma would dare to counterfeit.

"Sorry, we don't recognize this token. We'll need to report it to the Acting Commissioner of the Kanjou Commission," the samurai said quickly. This matter was beyond their authority. If these two were truly friends of Lord Akio, they couldn't stop them.

"Please come with us to meet the Acting Commissioner," the samurai led Lumine and Paimon to the Kanjou Commission office.

"Wow! This guy doesn't even recognize the token? Akio is so unreliable!" Paimon whispered behind Lumine's back.

"Paimon! Don't talk about people behind their backs! What if Akio hears you and decides to cook you?" Lumine glared at Paimon. They were on his turf now. How could she say such things?

Paimon suddenly realized and covered her mouth, relieved that no one had heard her. If the samurai had heard her badmouthing their god, they'd probably arrest her, right?

"Lumine, do you think the Acting Commissioner is some old man?" Paimon, unable to stay quiet, whispered to Lumine.

"I don't know…"

"Please wait here for a moment."

The two chatted as they walked, and soon they arrived at the Kanjou Commission office. The samurai asked them to wait for a moment and knocked on the office door.

"Who is it?" A sweet voice came from inside.

"Acting Commissioner, there are two foreign travelers here who claim to be friends of Lord Akio. They've given us a Divine Official's Token, which we don't recognize, so we've brought them to see you," the samurai reported.

"Oh?" The door soon opened, and Hiiragi Chisato stepped out.

"Acting Commissioner," the samurai quickly saluted and respectfully handed over the Divine Official's Token.
