Noran arrived at Sung Medical Hospital's psychiatric department, his steps echoing down the sterile hallways. The new head of the department, Vince Skyler, stood waiting for him at the entrance.
As Noran approached, Vince offered a polite nod of greeting.
"Mr. Kingston," Vince began, his tone professional, "Ms. Euni's condition has shown significant improvement. She's more stable now and can engage in simple conversation. I have to admit, we're surprised by your method—nothing we tried before seemed to work."
He paused, almost hesitant, then added, "If she continues to show this level of progress, there's a possibility she could be discharged soon."
Noran listened silently, his face a mask of calm indifference. There was no trace of emotion in his light blue eyes, which seemed to see through Vince rather than look at him.
With a brief nod, Noran moved past the doctor and proceeded toward Euni's room.
