Meanwhile, Reillana and Knight went deeper into the place, going to the cliff where her Father fell
"The cliff isn't slippery.." Reillana said, looking up, "No rocks could possibly fall either"
She looks down, the fall isnt enough to kill a person either, Her eyes narrowed, Then where is he? Where is the Duke?
She clench her fists, enough to feel her nails digging on her skin
She sighed frustratedly before turning, she almost jumped as she notice the person leaning on the tree of the cliff
"The Duke is dead, probably." Alistair said
"Your highness, what brings you here, this far from the palace?" Reillana asks
"You really know how to seek trouble, don't you?" Alistair sighed, "Go back to the palace."
"No." Reillana said firmly
"Don't make me drag you, M'lady." Alistair said with a glare
"I can barely do anything, I can't find my father, I can't take back the Estate and I missed my debut, atleast finding a lead on my Father's dissapearance is the best I could do." Reillana said
"You don't know how to fight."
"I know magic."
Reillana stared at him before Alistair stands up properly, shoving his hands on his pocket before turning his head, only then did Reillana notice the coachman and assistant with Sir Ren
"Using them as hostages won't shake Syrion's determination." Alistair spoke before going ahead of them
"Really, M'lady?" Ren asks, staring at her intently
"My apologies, I didn't mean to leave without permission" Reillana said
Ren sighed
"Let's go." Ren said, taking leading them back to the road
"Do you have any idea where my father would be, Sir Ren?" Reillana asks
"It's better to believe what we see for now, than worry about the laters. I'm sure the Duke is just injured somewhere" Ren says
"Hm.." Reillana hums, looking down
Soon enough after half a week, they arrived at the palace in horseback
Reillana climb down the horse, looking over the palace, it has been a while.
