"That cut on your chest doesn't look too good. You should probably get that checked out." Zion joked as he arrived at the battlefield.
He was angry, seeing everyone mangled and beaten the way they were, but he didn't let his emotions show, so he resorted to cracking jokes.
"You," Gonrod muttered
"Why is everyone saying that? Yes, me, I'm fucking Zion Zagan bitch!" One swing of his sword sent a violent wave of holy power at Gonrod.
He managed to block it by creating a sphere of water around his body, but it only weakened the attack, not stopped it. His arm was still cut, but not enough to cause a major injury.
"An apostle? Of Luminera?" Gonrod's voice sharpened, a rare edge of disbelief cutting through his usual calm. "That's impossible... She's dead." His eyes narrowed, studying Zion with cold intensity. "How are you wielding the power of a fallen goddess?"
