Chapter 3 - Chapter 1: Academy

5:24 PM

Keahv was sitting near the back end of the library. A small pile of books lay to his right, and another pile to his left. He was focused on a small book in front of him:

[Basics of Chakra Control for Beginners – by Achio Nikoma]

He closed the book, finally finishing it after 15 minutes.

[Congratulations! Your understanding of chakra has leveled up from 12 to 13.]

Still nothing. He still couldn't level up his chakra. He had only increased his understanding of it.

"Man, my understanding of chakra leveled up again, but still my chakra didn't, I've been trying to use it well reading but still nothing."

He had been trying to use his chakra for two hours when he finally decided to give up.

[Your understanding of chakra has risen enough to learn {Chakra Analysis}. Would you like to learn this technique?]

[Yes or No]

Keahv blinked in confusion for a couple of seconds, then suddenly smirked.

"Well, it's about damn time."

1:37 AM, Sunday

It had been two months since Keahv arrived in this world, and it was clear that it was quite different from the original. In this universe, chakra is bestowed upon only a select few rather than everyone.

'Which honestly doesn't even make sense- since isn't chakra like your life force or something?'

Naruto and Naruko were here. Apparently, they were siblings accompanied by their mother. They all lived in the Namikaze mansion. It appeared that Minato Namikaze had sealed 10% of the Nine-Tails' chakra with his wife, while the other 90% was split between his two children.

"This honestly feels like a fanfiction world…"

Keahv muttered to himself as he reflected on this strange universe. It was very similar to the fanfiction world he had been reading about, but not quite the fanfiction world was a complete smut compared to this one. In that world, women were treated like playthings. Even Kushina was portrayed as a slut who would sell her children, which was completely out of character for her.

This one seemed like a universe where Naruto had one parent and one sibling left. He might be neglected, but Keahv didn't have enough information to come to that conclusion.

[Chakra poisoning has been detected]

Keahv looked at the red screen in front of him. He had been experimenting with different ways to use his chakra and had come to understand that the purer his chakra, the more it affected his body. Since nobody had been able to use pure chakra, it acted much like a poison. Keahv guessed that only the Sage of Six Paths or the reincarnation of either his son or his mother could use pure chakra.

After reading the books, he realized that he truly did not understand this world at all. It was completely different yet also very similar to Naruto; they shared the same fundamentals, though some details had changed. For example, natural chakra, the chakra that permeates the world, and pure chakra differ from the chakra produced by humans.

"God, why the fuck am I even thinking about all this bullshit?" he muttered before turning around and heading back to his house.

The first day of the academy was scheduled for tomorrow, so he might as well get some good rest, have a proper meal, and hopefully avoid being chakra poisoned.

5:30 AM, Monday…

Keahv got up from his soft, comfortable bed and walked to his bathroom. He grabbed some cold water and splashed it on his face as he examined his body. He was very skinny… Even though he had started eating a lot, he hadn't gained much weight.

He had a chiseled face, but it still looked pretty average like that of a guy you might pass by without a second glance. He had black, silky hair and simple brown eyes a completely normal appearance. Nevertheless, even though he had been working out and trying to gain extra weight for his scrawny body, he had seen only minimal results. At least his strength was growing.

He quickly got ready, grabbed some food, and then sat down on the couch at 5:53.

Keahv had mentioned this countless times before, yet he still couldn't get over how strange technology was in this world there were televisions and even some form of communication through telephones… Yet, they were still using medieval style weapons and had not advanced in any other areas. Well, to be fair, I suppose you don't really need weapons when you have a literal nuke in your arsenal.

He decided to eat some food and watch television for a while, as the academy wouldn't start until around 7:30.

Keahv looked up at the huge building, through which many kids were streaming in some talking to one another, while others were simply walking in. Many parents were also present with their children. Keahv wondered if some of them belonged to clans.

"Well, time to find out what class I'm going to be in," he thought.

Keahv honestly hoped not to be placed in the main group, so he was hoping that he would be assigned to another class. But of course, he ended up in that class…

"Dang it," he muttered.

He made his way to the classroom, feeling excited yet nervous about what this class and its people would be like especially the main group. When he finally found the classroom, he entered the room, recognizing many familiar faces alongside some new ones. He quickly walked over and sat down at the back left corner of the classroom.
