Since they came here as humble travelers,Primrose didn't dare step into any shops that looked too luxurious, no matter how much she wanted to.
After nearly three hours of wandering through the capital, she was starting to feel completely worn out. She had walked all that time, yet it felt like she hadn't even visited that many vendors.
"Just how long are the streets in this place?" Primrose muttered as she leaned on a bench by the side of the road, rubbing her aching lower back.
Edmund set down their shopping bags and gently helped his wife sit on the long bench.
"The capital is known for having the longest road in all of Noctvaris," he said. "It's no wonder you're tired, even though we haven't even seen half of it yet."
"I can definitely feel that," Primrose sighed loudly the moment she sat.
She stretched out her legs and wiggled her sore toes. Her feet were probably covered in blisters by now after walking so much.
