Seeing their master appear, Omoi and Karui rushed over immediately.
"Master! Woohoo, you finally showed up!" Karui cried.
"Ah, Master, we thought we'd never see you again!" Omoi added, his eyes brimming with tears.
Both of them burst into tears as they clung to Killer Bee.
Killer Bee laughed heartily, patting their heads affectionately. "Okay, okay! I just went out to play for a bit. Why are you crying like this? You'd think I died or something!"
The giant bull-tailed Hachibi behind him let out a low rumble of discontent, snorting in protest. It felt like someone was trying to snatch its partner away.
Standing a few meters away, the Fourth Raikage, A, stared at Killer Bee with burning fury. His face twisted in anger as he roared, "You idiot! You bastard! Get over here, now!"
Killer Bee flinched the moment he heard his older brother's voice. His body reacted before his brain could process it, his muscle memory carved from years of being scolded by his elder brother.
Raikage A clenched his fists, the veins bulging on his arms, and ground his teeth. "Don't make me repeat myself! Or I'll crush you with my Iron Claw!"
Killer Bee swallowed hard.
"C!" Raikage's advisor called out sharply, walking toward the medics. "Lord Raikage, please calm down! Your wound was just stitched—if you keep shouting, it'll tear open again!"
After warning Raikage, he turned to the medical unit and barked, "Medical squad! Increase Chakra output for healing! Focus on the chest and internal bleeding!"
"Yes, sir!" the medics responded in unison, rushing to follow his orders.
Killer Bee turned to look at his brother, his expression changing from playfulness to concern. He gently pulled away from Omoi and Karui and walked toward Raikage A.
"Yo, Big Bro... what happened to you? Who the hell was strong enough to pierce through your Lightning Release Chakra Mode?!"
Raikage snorted and said coldly, "Still think I'm your 'good bro' now?"
Killer Bee tilted his head. "Huh?"
Darui stepped forward and said in a calm tone, "Lord Bee, the one who injured Lord Raikage... was Naruto."
Killer Bee's jaw dropped. He turned to Naruto in disbelief. "Yo! Naruto-kun! I didn't expect you to be so damn powerful now. You broke through my brother's armor? That's insane!"
As he spoke, he naturally added a few rhymes out of habit.
Darui: "..."
C: "..."
Raikage frowned, wincing as he clutched his chest. "C-Chakra... C, my heart hurts again... do something."
Naruto scratched his head awkwardly. "I'm sorry, it's not that I'm stronger... your brother is still the Raikage. I just found the weak point in his armor."
Dodai looked at Naruto with admiration in his eyes. At last, he understood the truth behind the Third Raikage's legendary wound—on his chest, a scar that had been the subject of speculation for decades.
It was rumored that the Third Raikage had received that wound while fighting the Eight-Tails.
Many had believed it was inflicted by the Hachibi, but now Dodai realized—it was self-inflicted during the climax of a fierce battle. The Raikage had likely fallen and stabbed himself accidentally while pushing through the limits of his stamina. Out of shame, he had never told anyone.
Naruto... was a rare genius. Still so young, and yet he already had the ability to analyze enemy combat data in battle and make precise tactical decisions. Dodai suddenly recalled another Konoha genius—the Fourth Hokage.
Wait a second…
At closer glance, Naruto really did resemble Minato Namikaze.
Killer Bee frowned at the pained expression on his brother's face. Then, glaring at Naruto, he asked, "Yo, Naruto, did you go too far? Look at Big Bro—he's clearly suffering."
Trying to keep things light, Naruto offered an apologetic smile. "I didn't have a choice. Your brother made a bet with me. If I didn't beat him convincingly, he wasn't going to listen to my request."
"A bet?" Killer Bee's eyes lit up with interest.
Dodai took out the scroll and handed it to him. "It's true. They had a duel just moments ago—Naruto won."
Killer Bee read through the scroll, then looked up at his brother in disbelief. "Big Bro… you lost. And Naruto didn't even use the Rinnegan or his full Nine-Tails Chakra Mode..."
He shook his head in amazement.
Raikage Ai clutched his heart again. He felt another wave of emotional damage. His pride was crumbling with each word his brother spoke. This idiot brother… should not stay here for long.
Killer Bee turned to Naruto and asked, "So what was it that you wanted to ask my big bro?"
Naruto didn't hesitate. "You know I've just established a new team, right? The problem is, we don't have enough training resources. That's why I've been thinking about gathering the training manuals and secret techniques of the major Hidden Villages."
Killer Bee lit up. "Yo! I know exactly where that stuff is! In Kumogakure, we've got a stash of secret scrolls hidden in the attic of one of the old training halls!"
Naruto's eyes sparkled with excitement.
It made sense. After the Third Great Ninja War, Kumogakure had been aggressive in collecting powerful bloodlines and techniques.
Take the incident with the Hyūga Clan, for example—Hyūga Hizashi had died because Kumogakure had tried to kidnap Hinata to steal the Byakugan. That plot had ended with the would-be kidnapper's death and a diplomatic standoff.
In the end, Hizashi volunteered to die in his twin brother's place.
That era had made Kumogakure collect all kinds of secret knowledge and techniques.
Naruto asked eagerly, "You know where it is?"
Killer Bee nodded with confidence. "Of course I do! I used to hang out there all the time. Just get my brother's permission, and I'll take you."
Tutai stood frozen, mouth slightly open. Then, slowly, he clutched his own chest, eyes filled with heartbreak.
It hurts... it hurts so much!
Raikage A couldn't take it anymore. "Baka yarō! You bastard! How dare you help someone from another village use our village's resources! You're my brother, you're the Jinchūriki of Kumogakure, and you're supposed to be a loyal Cloud ninja!"
Killer Bee shrugged nonchalantly. "C'mon, Bro. The strongest ninja are the ninja of the whole world now. In the future, we're all gonna fight on the same side. There's no more 'your village' or 'my village.'"
Raikage A froze.
His brother... was also talking about the future?
He turned and narrowed his eyes at Naruto. "You little punk... what the hell did you do to my brother? Did you use some Genjutsu with the Rinnegan? Did you brainwash him?"
Naruto rolled his eyes. "Uncle Raikage, you should know better. Jinchūriki are resistant to Genjutsu. And if the Rinnegan really could control your brother, it'd be full mind control. He wouldn't be acting like himself."
Dodai nodded silently. What Naruto said was true. He also understood a thing or two about Jinchūriki physiology.
Killer Bee stepped forward. "Big Bro, I get it. You probably don't believe me, but Naruto really showed me the future. It was terrifying... full of pain and suffering. Because I'm the Hachibi's Jinchūriki, I was able to glimpse it. You don't have that kind of Chakra, so you couldn't see it.
But I swear—it was real. And if you want to hear it, I'll tell you everything."
He glanced at Naruto, who gave a small nod of approval.
Raikage A grunted and said dismissively, "Don't talk to me about the future. Not long ago, that lunatic in a mask—Tobi—came here rambling about the Eye of the Moon plan and the Sage of Six Paths.
There are so many con men in the world now I can't tell who's who!
Let me say this straight—if your plan affects Kumogakure's interests, Naruto, I don't approve!"
Killer Bee looked at the scroll again, confused. "Wait a sec, Big Bro… are you saying Naruto wants to bulldoze the Hidden Cloud Village?"
