"This is your only warning," Naevora said between clenched teeth.
"Touch him again… and I'll bury you so deep the world forgets your name."

She didn't wait for a response.
Naevora dove like a meteor as her spear arced toward Lingsha's chest.
Lingsha snarled and sidestepped... but not fast enough.
SHINK-!!
The spear's edge sliced across her ribs, tearing through the flesh, sending a spray of blood into the air.
The impact cratered the ground, sending a shockwave outward and flattening nearby rubble.
Naevora used the spear's shaft to spin and struck Lingsha with the blunt end.
BOOM!... sending her tumbling backward, skidding across broken stone.
But Lingsha didn't fall.
She flipped upright mid-skid, wiped blood from her chin, and charged forward, her ether condensing violently around her arms.
Naevora lunged.
Thoom! Thoom!
They clashed in a furious flurry of attacks as Naevora's spear met her fist.
Blade-edge ether clashed with reinforced skin.
