I'm still fucking pissed off, Rael thought as he finally pulled into the Celestara mountainside elevator. The fucker tried to kill my wife, and then he went ahead and died.

"Rael?" Zafira called out as she patted his shoulder. "I don't know what you saw, but I'm not dead. I'm here with you."
"I know. Sorry." Rael sighed as he leaned back in his seat. "I'm mad that I didn't expect it. They are barbarians, so naturally, they have a different way of doing things. I should've done some research on them..."
"I already researched them before we left," Zafira said plainly. "Chieftain Jin was said to be a calm and magnanimous man. A great ruler, and all of those flowery words. But as you can see, my information network was flawed."
But mine isn't... Rael thought. I should pay Zareth a visit.
Rael's information network was obviously much better than hers, and if he had visited Zareth beforehand, he would've seen this coming.
