Duke Festus Obadiah, having been wounded the previous night, stopped by the hut of a physician in the village as soon as came out of the forest.
The Old physician seeing the man in the middle of the night in that state had lamented bitterly saying, "What made you venture into the woods at such late hours? You just made yourself a prey for wolves. Now look at what they have done to your face."
And when Festus had asked the man if his wound was that bad, and whether it would live a scar, the old man had answered saying, "I am sorry, My Lord but this old man can do no more but treat your wounds. I am afraid your wounds are deep and even after they heal, the scars shall remain. The gods must favor you greatly for you to still have both eyes. Such attacks usually take an eye from the wounded."
