Adam's whole body was in utter agony as if his body had been broken apart and then rearranged into something else. Like a puzzle that had been stuck together by smashing the pieces together where they didn't fit. Well in his case, that was pretty much exactly what Arachne had done to him.
'You know you're one crazy bitch right?!'
He seethed but to his surprise, Arachne did not respond. Instead there was an eerie silence, something that he had grown unaccustomed to. He started to grow slightly worried but when he focused, he noticed her presence.
It was faint but she was there. Her presence was so weak as if she was exhausted, most likely from taking control of her body. While he was mad at her, he was also somewhat grateful. If he had tried to interact with Kyle or Melanie himself, he might have been unable to contain himself and strike them or worse.
