Aria was absolutely losing her mind as she paced back and forth incessantly.
'Adam..No Arachne is freaking me out here!'
Adam's new feminine form was sitting relaxed on the couch where she had been sitting for the last 15 minutes without a word. Her regality gave the impression that she was above all yet seemed utterly bored as she fiddled with a coin as if she was some sort of magician.
"How long until he wakes up Arachne?"
She didn't know how many times she had asked that question but the answer was always the same.
"Soon. Stop fretting, child."
"I'm sorry but it is really hard to not panic when you suddenly grow wings and I really feel like I need to get out of here. Who knows what will happen if we don't leave soon!
The coin flicked into the air, catching the light as it spun. It landed neatly on Arachne's knuckle, where it balanced without moving, almost mocking her with its stillness.
