Zeke and I briefly exchanged nods as I walked past the Imperial students, and he added while I passed by.
"What happened to not paying attention and not caring about your grades?"
Turning back with a grin, I replied, halting momentarily.
"Who said this has anything to do with grades?"
"Oh really? Seems to me like you do actually care about grades. I never see you outside after classes...you probably study all day, don't you?"
"Alright, bud? Have fun climbing that summit for me, will you, then? Professor Donna can go die if she thinks I'm climbing in this weather."
Returning my gin, Zeke waved at me through the glass elevator as I entered and stood the farthest away I could from Charlotte.
Again, Zeke was completely and utterly on Liam's side.
And, I had just had a full-fledged conversation with him as if we were best friends.
A couple of moments, later, Nico entered, standing aginst the back wall, in between Charlotte, who was in the left corner, and me in the right corner.
