As she plummeted down the bridge, the wind whipped harshly against her face. She even felt she wasn't falling fast enough. 'Lucian, I'm coming,' she thought, before she felt herself plummeting into the water.
The cold chill of the water radiated over her body. It was so cold that she wanted to scream. Her leg kicked against the water, but it was different to swim in the water. Every kick was so strenuous and difficult.
Her eyes widened when realization dawned on her. The water was stagnant, making it extremely difficult to swim in it. Before panic could set in her, her will to save Lucian took over. She squinted her eyes as she dove deeper into the water, which was very difficult to see through.
Bubbles formed in the water as she swam around. She suddenly stopped when she felt something approaching at a crazy speed. She immediately turned around. Her eyes almost bulged out in horror—shaped jagged teeth, glinting blue eyes, four limbs with sharp claws, a body of a dragon.
