"Felicia, I think I've figured out the reason why," Eris says, her eyes gleaming.
"Wait! You did?!" I gasp, jolting forward with excitement.
My heart skips a beat. If I can finally understand what's going on with my body… maybe I can actually start getting stronger! No more being thin and weak! No more wheezing after just a bit of light walking!
"Yeah!" Eris nods. "It's actually thanks to that question you asked yesterday. That's what helped me put all the pieces together."
"Ooooh!!" I squeal, practically bouncing in my seat. "Then what is it?! Tell me, please! Please please please!"
"I will," Eris says sweetly. "But first, you have to eat the entire wyvern egg!"
"Eeeeehh?! Why are you blackmailing me now?" I cry, puffing my cheeks out like a sulky balloon. "Alright, fine! But if I finish it, you have to tell me right away! No more stalling!"
Eris chuckles. "Yup. I promise."
I narrow my eyes at her, squinting hard. "Really promise?"
