Everything had its place, from wake-up time to meal times and sleep schedules. A siren alerted us to each transition. Beyond the structured routine, school was actually fun – if you learned to relax. This story from my perspective, so forgive any biases.
The first week was hectic, especially considering our school's reputation as one of Africa's best. The campus was massive, with separate buildings for science, general art, visual art, home economics, business, and the library. It was easy to get lost in the sprawling structures.
As for the dormitories, we were assigned ten to a room with five bunk beds. My roommates? I'd say we're still getting to know each other. We're not exactly close, but we coexist. It's hard to describe feelings for people you're familiar with but haven't bonded with – at least, not yet.
