It had been days and neither her nor her uncle had visited the house. They both disappeared one day and they never came back. I was worried. At first, I thought they left, given all that had happened. But then, I was not sure.
The last time I saw Nicole was when she came to my house to inquire about the city. I knew there was something off about her, I knew that she was more than she seemed but I did not expect her to be like him. I did not expect her to be like one of them.

She might be there. She must have gone there. But then, where did her uncle go? And why was I so worried about all of these? I had a bad feeling but then again, I was not particularly close to her. I had no reason to go look for her.
She had always been on edge, always trying to keep to herself. Her eyes were always sad and lonely, like she carried the weight of the entire world on her shoulders.
