"Can you tell me why you summoned me here?" I asked him, after just sitting on the floor for a while.
He did not even have the decency to offer me a chair, saying he did not like to share his things so he hoped I understood.
He sounded extremely polite but then again, he could just be messing with me. He was a god, after all, a very powerful one at that, and one thing I had learned from gods was that they were very prideful. So very much so that I knew he did not need to give me an explanation as to why he kept me on the floor but he did.
Ugh, I was just not going to think about it.
Why even did he know about Akerios and what about him was enough to make him chuckle to himself? It was as if I was missing part of a very essential joke. I probably should not even attempt to know why he was laughing but knowing me and the kind of person I was, one way or another, I was going to figure out exactly what was going on.
