The first thing I felt was the warmt, as if I was being comforted by a big, warm, fluffy cloud. Then that nice and welcome feeling was immediately suppressed when the pain kicked in and my eyes fluttered open.
It was dark, both the room and its surroundings, ir was nighttime and the moon had been hidden behind the clouds making it more difficult to see. Waking up in a strange room was very like me, just another day and a another misfortune.
Or perhaps it was fortune. Who was it this time that was going to be cursed?
Where was I?
My eyes adjusted to the darkness and slowly, the scenery started to come into view. The room was not adorned with anything, it was quite plain but despite its plainness, it still managed to look exotic. My kidnappers had taste at least.
