"what?" Elisa exclaimed.
She had expected to be welcomed with warmth, Instead, she was faced with an icy stare from the receptionist, whose nameplate read "Mary"
"What?" Elisa exclaimed, her voice cutting through the air. There was a hint of disbelief in her tone as she processed the words that had just tumbled from receptionist's lips.
" Who are you referring to as a beggar? Me?"
The receptionist stood firm behind the polished reception desk, crossing her arms as if to ward off any thoughts of rebellion.
Elisa took a deep breath, the kind people take right before they plunge into a heated argument, and raised his eyebrows in an exaggerated fashion.
"Who do you think you are, treating me like a beggar?"
