The list came three days in.
As suspected, Aaron and Erika were assigned to different places. Aaron was assigned to help out in a nearby city called Duskmist City, while Erika was assigned to another city called Darkshine City.
These two cities are Tier-2 cities that are under the control of Dusk City. So, in a way, protecting them was the duty of the Dusk City, which pushed that responsibility to the academy. It was not actually pushing away; rather, the academy and the city both share the responsibility of protecting the regions around them.
It was why the academy was sending the students who would fill in the low-level position gaps for the city guard. They are still second year. So, they won't be leading any armies or anything. Most would be paperwork or some small hunts for low-level criminals.
