A little more than Two Months later...
A total of sixty-five days had passed since Aaron had returned to the academy after completing the mission. After completing the mission, he didn't take on any more missions, because he saw that nothing out there is as simple as it appears.
The mission he took was to clear bandits, but behind them, there were slavers, and behind them, there were the cults. Everything that happens in the world is connected to something bigger and dipping in that shit while being weak is not a good thing.
A few days later, he came to know that his decision was right.
A group of five first-year students who went on a regular monster-clearing mission encountered members of the cults, who were poking the monsters in order to make them attack the nearby settlements. A fight broke out and two were killed, while one was critically injured, with the remaining two were severely injured.
