Aaron placed the Dark Purple Crystal Ball in the center, then started to draw runes around it, but left two holes around it, where he placed the other two resources that he pulled out of his storage.
The Crystal Ball is nothing but a container, and the colour is due to what it was containing. What is inside is called Undead Lightning. It is one of the most dangerous lightning out there. Though it was not rare, it was not easy to capture and contain it.
To do so, only someone of higher rank is needed, and also the container should be of the highest quality or else, even if captured, storing in low-quality storage would make it easy for the lightning to escape.
Since this item involved one of the top five academies, the crystal ball should be a high quality storage.
The other two items that Aaron pulled out of his own storage were Undead Thunder Lily and Undead Brock Root.
