"Mr. Evan…" Adam approached him cautiously, still trying to confirm the suspicion that had taken root. "What exactly is your relationship with Aryan?"
"I—That…" Evan hesitated, caught off guard. Words failed him for a moment.
Before he could answer, Marco arrived, breathless and anxious. "Uncle… how's Aryan?"
"Marco," Adam turned to him gently, keeping his voice steady. "Don't worry. He's out of danger. The doctors have moved him to the observation ward. If everything goes well in the next 24 hours, they'll shift him to a regular room."
"Can I see him?" Marco asked quickly. He just needed to see Aryan's face—to believe he was truly safe.
"Let's asks the duty doctor," Adam replied.
Marco immediately requested permission, and after a brief conversation, the doctor allowed him a short visit.
Inside the room, Marco's steps felt heavier with each pace. The sight of Aryan lying unconscious, pale and still, made his heart sink.
