Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: I am not Hu Mei'er!

"T-That's because…" Hu Jiao'er stammered, her face burning. Her mind was blank—completely unprepared for how quickly the tables had turned.

She blurted out the first thing that came to mind.

"I w-want to call my husband in a more mature way… I want this to be more serious…"

Nie Yong's grin widened ever so slightly.

'Oh? She knows how to play.' He tilted his head subtly, eyes locked on hers.

Then it was his turn to strike.

"Mei'er…" he said softly, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. Before she could speak, his lips captured hers again—slower this time, more intense. When he pulled back, his voice was low, almost a whisper against her cheek.

"I also want things between us to be serious… That's why I want to ask…"

His eyes searched hers. Hu Jiao'er felt her heartbeat racing.

"Will you be only mine? Will we stay together until death parts us? Will you stay beside me when I am weak? Will you give me your whole heart?"

Her breath caught.

[You have made a girl fall in love with you just by talking.]

[Seduction has jumped to level 30!]

Nie Yong's eyes flickered slightly at the System message, though his expression remained smooth.

'I made… Hu Jiao'er fall in love with me?'

He chuckled internally. 'Maybe having both sisters isn't so impossible after all…'

Hu Jiao'er's heart pounded in her chest.

'This guy…' she thought, stunned. 'Why does it feel like everything he says goes straight into me? Is this what Mei'er feels for him? Is this… love?'

Inside the barrier, Hu Mei'er's hands were pressed against the invisible dome, her eyes glistening with tears.

"Nie Yong…" she whispered with a radiant smile, her heart melting. 'Those words… they were meant for me. He really… loves me…'

Back to them, Hu Jiao'er felt her chest tighten.

"Yes…" she murmured, stepping forward into his arms. "I want to be yours…"

Nie Yong wrapped his arms around her gently—though his build was far taller, his embrace was firm and warm, cradling her like she might disappear if he let go.

His chin rested atop her head as her cheek pressed against his chest.

'Is she still playing… or is she genuine now?' Nie Yong thought. But either way, it didn't matter.

Not now.

He leaned down again and kissed her—deeper this time, more demanding, his hand tilting her chin upward to meet him fully.

Hu Jiao'er's body trembled.

She clung to him before she realized her feet had left the floor.

Nie Yong carried her effortlessly, bridal style, his eyes never leaving hers.

"Sister, no—!" Hu Mei'er cried inside the barrier, but no sound escaped the shimmering dome.

The curtains parted as Nie Yong stepped toward the bed.

Nie Yong dropped Hu Jiao'er gently onto the bed, his hands smooth and deliberate. The mattress bounced slightly under her weight.

Then, in one fluid motion, he peeled off his shirt.

Hu Jiao'er's eyes widened at the sight of his sculpted torso—hard muscle, toned lines, and that smug confidence oozing from every pore.

Her cheeks turned crimson.

Her breath caught.

"S-Stop!" she exclaimed, lifting a hand reflexively.

Nie Yong paused, arching a brow, the corner of his lips twitching into a smirk.

'She is finally giving up, huh?'

But Hu Jiao'er sat up suddenly, a spark in her eyes.

"I am not Hu Mei'er!" she declared, and with a sharp flick of her fingers, the invisible barrier that had imprisoned Hu Mei'er behind them cracked—and shattered into glittering fragments.

The younger twin was free.

She didn't hesitate. In a flash, she rushed forward and threw herself into Nie Yong's arms, her voice shaking but her heart resolute.

"Yes, I want to be forever yours, Nie Yong," she said, answering the question he had once whispered to her soul.

Nie Yong smiled warmly.

"I already know that," he said, leaning down to kiss her—softly, slowly, with the kind of affection that made her toes curl.

Behind them, Hu Jiao'er was frozen on the bed, her face a mixture of flustered rage and confusion.

"Wait! Are you not even a little bit shocked that I'm not Hu Mei'er?!"

Nie Yong turned to her casually, as if they were discussing the weather.

"No, I always knew."

"You… what? How!?"

"My Mei'er's buttocks are perfectly balanced," he said plainly, "Yours? Your left buttock is just a little bit fuller than the right."

Hu Jiao'er's jaw dropped.

"WHAT?! How dare you!?"

Even Hu Mei'er blinked, genuinely curious now.

"And wait! You still did all of those things to me, knowing I wasn't her?!"

Nie Yong chuckled.

"Just like you were testing me… I was testing you too. I wanted to see if Mei'er's sister was really willing to steal her man."

With no warning, he grabbed Hu Mei'er and effortlessly tossed her onto the bed beside her flustered twin.

"W-What are you doing now!?" Hu Jiao'er yelped, trying to scoot away—but the bed was too soft, and her legs felt too weak.

Nie Yong climbed up onto the bed with a predator's grace.

"Mei'er…" he said, voice low with mischief, "Keep your sister still. We've got to teach her a lesson for trying to seduce her brother-in-law."

Hu Mei'er grinned, all traces of tears gone as she pounced. She grabbed Jiao'er's wrists and pinned them gently but firmly to the mattress, her mischievous eyes gleaming.

"S-Sister?!" Hu Jiao'er stammered, her blush deepening. "Y-You're not actually going to—!"

"Sorry," Mei'er stuck out her tongue, "You brought this on yourself."

Hu Jiao'er bit her lip.

She could break free easily. She was stronger—far stronger.

But her body didn't want to.

To be continued...
